Biography

For more than 20 years Thomas has been one of the most popular male singers in Denmark. This is partly attributed to his brilliant singer-song writer ability, writing songs based on the pop and soul genres, but also because of his good looks. He turned 40 two years ago and girls of all ages still find this man very attractive.

His debut album was released in 1985 and instantly became a hit, followed by numerous other successful albums, all of which had Danish lyrics. In 1992 he released his first album sung in English, which was followed by the album “Stupid Man”. This is his biggest commercial success so far and he subsequently received six Danish Music Awards.

Since the mid 1990’s Thomas has managed to maintain his popularity, which has led to the release of a couple of albums more, a Greatest Hits album and a large number of concerts. The radio still regularly plays his hits – mostly from the late 1980’s, whilst these songs will also be frequently heard at many private parties.

In 2006 he had a remarkable come back returning with his first Danish language album in 16 years. The ballad “Op Og Ned” is included on this album, proving that Thomas still knows how to write great pop songs in Danish.
